Where does data go?
Into the deployment you control, in the region you nominate. Sovereign deployments hold data inside the jurisdictional boundary by construction, not by configuration.
Where does inference run?
Inside the boundary. Inferrex runs its own inference rather than calling an external model provider. There is no third-party AI dependency to exempt.
What leaves the boundary?
In an air-gapped deployment, nothing. There is no egress path to disable, because there is none.
Can AI operate offline?
Yes. Comprehension, classification and inference all run locally against the deployed corpus.
How are credentials handled?
Held in the deployment's own secrets management, scoped per tenant, never rendered and never transmitted to Inferrex.
How is isolation enforced?
At the tenancy boundary and beneath it, in storage, in transit and at query time.
What is retained?
What you configure. Retention is a deployment parameter, not a platform default you inherit.
What happens in air-gapped environments?
The corpus and the models are installed as artefacts. Updates arrive as reviewed releases you choose to apply.

The organisations least able to send data outwards are offered the least capable version of the thing that would help them most. That is a commercial artefact rather than a technical one: comprehension needs structure, meaning and relationships, all of which are already inside the boundary.
